JOJO MAYER
El prestigioso msico suizo JOJO MAYER,
afincado en Nueva York desde 1991, est
considerado como uno de los bateras ms
creativos del siglo XXI.
Jojo Mayer comenz a tocar la batera a los
tres aos de edad. A los 18 entr a la escena
musical profesional.

 Ha trabajado con multitud de artistas

como Monty Alexander, The Screaming
Headless Torsos, Meshell NDege, John
Zorn, Mike Stern, Steve Coleman, Friedric
Gulda, John Medeski o Rebekka Bakken,
entre otros.

 Es conocido por mezclar el jazz, los drums, los bajos, jungle y otras influencias.
Tambin es famoso por su habilidad para tocar los ritmos de la msica programada
drum n bass jungle, llamndole a esta tcnica como reverse engineering
(ingeniera en reversa).
