WHEREAS, the Regional Ecotourism Committee (REC) for CALABARZON

REGION was created pursuant to the provisions of Section 1 of Executive Order
No. 111, series of 1999, Establishing the Guidelines for Ecotourism Development
in the Philippines.
WHEREAS, the functions of the REC is to evaluate, approve and monitor
ecotourism projects in the region, recommend plans and programs for ecotourism
and implement policies, guidelines, programs, projects and activities formulated
by the Committee.

WHEREAS, upon presentation of Mr. Enrico Hosmillo of the Municipality of

Lobo, Batangas during the 2nd Quarter REC Regular Meeting and in pursuance to
the procedure in the evaluation the proposed ecotourism site, the REC members
unanimously agreed and concurred in approving the Lobo Agri-Ecotourism
Project.
On motion by Engr. Mamerto S. Madriaga, Jr., DENR Region IV - A duly
seconded by Dir. Roberto P. Cereno, UPLB - TREES, RESOLVED, AS IT IS
HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the Lobo Agri-Ecotourism Project, all the
pertinent documents presented including this Resolution as reference for the
approval of the above-mentioned project.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copy of this Resolution, all the REC
members and other concerned agencies for their proper perusal and appropriate
action.
It is certified that the foregoing Resolution was based on the excerpts of the
discussions which was duly approved by the members of the REC during the
meeting held on the 26th day of June 2015 at the Tayak Nature, Adventure And
Wildlife Park, Rizal, Laguna.
