Sports Medicine Grading

Expectations & Procedures:

Academic Honesty: Academic honesty is an indispensable

value as students acquire knowledge and develop skills.
Students are expected to practice academic honesty by not
cheating, plagiarizing, or misrepresenting their coursework in
any way. Students are ultimately responsible for understanding
and avoiding academic dishonesty whether an act is intentional
or unintentional. Violations will result in failure of an
assignment.

Late Work:
Late work will have a 10% penalty for each day it is not turned
in and must be turned in by the end of each academic quarter.
Students may have an opportunity to redo an assessment or
assignment; however, no extra
credit is given in this class. General guidelines for reassessment
are:

* Reassessment and assignment revision opportunities must

occur within the current

Grading period (ie: last day of first quarter)

* When tasks/assignments are reassessed, they may be

reassessed partially, entirely, or

in a different format, as determined by the teacher.

* Reassessment grades replace the original grade with the

original grade calculating

out to be 20% of the final assignment grade, however it

cannot exceed an 79%.

* The teacher reserves the right to allow or limit reassessment

opportunities based on

individual circumstances.

Grading Scale:

A students grade in this class will be based on major

assessments (70%) quizzes, projects and other assignments
(30%) Contact hours count as an assessment grade for each
