How does DES absorbs CO2?

Deep eutectic absorption of carbon dioxide principle follows the same mechanism
on how gas-liquid absorption works. By diffusion, the molecules of CO2 collides with
molecules of liquid DES causing a mass transfer to take place at liquid-gas interface.
When two phases are brought into contact they eventually reach equilibrium. Thus
some mass of CO2 of the enriched gas are absorbed by the liquid causing it for a
decrease in the concentration of CO2 in the leaving gas hence called lean gas. The
enriched liquor then contains that missing mass of CO2 in the lean gas.
