Character Descriptions

And now, we are going to
talk a little bit more about
the historical background.

2.1 Pre-Stage: This week the


theme has been controvery. What
are some of the controversial
issues in this novel (that we see in
the first two chapters?) These
issues are good disucssion
questions
2.2. During Stage: Separate into
two groups. each group will
receieve a question sheet.
Together, the group should write
down two discussion questions.
After the groups will switch papers.
The students will discuss the
discussion questions and write
down a summary on the answer
sheet.
2.3 Post-Stage: Each group will
share their summary. The group
that wrote the questions will state if
they agree or disagree with the
summary.

switch papers to check for errors.
