The last activity - Final of the Project

In the last few months of the school year, the students of the Elementary School
Nicolae Titulescu from Bucharest, Romania, have studied, during the education
arts, music, literature, civic classes cultural aspects of the seven partner
countries. The themes are those of cultural kaleidoscope: tradition, traditional
instruments, folk costumes and decorative art, cultural personalities, traditional
cuisine. Integrated into the current lessons, the themes was a challenge for
students. We were glad to see that there are similarities between our culture and
that of their partners. The material produced by the students will be exposed in
school on the end of May. We present our findings in a unique cultural activity
organized during the closing celebration of the project.
But we will not stop here! We will continue to build this cultural kaleidoscope in
the coming years. We aimed to study other European countries too in terms of
culture and civic. We feel proud to have been part of this project and we are glad
we had the opportunity to get in direct contact with the culture of the partners
during the visits that we made in these two years.
Popular culture defines us as a people! The similarities between the different
European cultures brings us closer to each other, the differences define us as a
national entity.

Interview with the little journalists from project E-K Press team

Ruxandra: I never thought that this project will attract

me so much! I met wonderful people, interesting places
I saw, I was attracted to journalism. I'm fascinated by
this area. I have written many articles, I got involved in
radio and TV school level. I hope to continue! I can not
wait to go to France!

Thea: I do not know what I liked more: the work of

journalists or within the team that we had the opportunity to
visit one of the most beautiful countries - Italy? In fact I
think both things are related to each other and I liked as
much. I just love photography and, through the eye lens, I
captured images during special activities. I have to keep
working for the school newspaper and TV.

Daria: I was involved in this project when I was in the

fourth grade of primary. Mrs. Berusca asked me to be TV
announcer. I think since then I started to pay more
attention to cultural themes of the project. I learned
common words in all partner languages, I learned to sing
and dance folklore of each country. What I liked most?
