Genentech. As a recent graduate of Solano Colleges biotechnology program, I
believe I am a strong candidate for your company. Solano Colleges program gave
me a strong foundation in work as an entry level biomanufacturing technician. This
program involves extensive laboratory work.
In this program, I became familiar with the path of a protein biologic from its
inception in the cell, through the production facility, and the various phases of
testing. I also learned the role of governmental oversight and regulation during the
discovery, development, and manufacturing of new products.
