    BANARG® and MAPAX® are used to control sprout inhibition in potatoes and promote ripening of tomatoes grown in German greenhouses. Young tomato plants arrive in greenhouses in January and February, with fertilization starting in March using CO2. Tomatoes are harvested from May through September, with BANARG® applied to the last crops to promote ripening before the greenhouses are cleaned in October.
