A Protest against the Dark Arts (considering were reading Faust)

Oh my brothers what murky times when we live in, when the nefarious powers of Hell roam
freely upon Earth. When an educated man of good stature cavorts with Satan and his minions,
the world is truly sorrowful. A man, who was once happy, ends up distraught once he has
tampered with powers beyond his comprehension. I realize to some, the thought ancient
grimoires and alchemy may seem piquant, but it only seems that way because the Devil is trying
to tempt you. Why, since the primordial times of existence, man has been coaxed into a false
sense of credence, but this is only trickery and nothing more. Do not be thrown off by the
verbiage the magician may use when trying to woo you. What he calls substantive truth is merely
demonic trickery. I beseech thee, oh my brothers, do not pay this man eulogy! He may cry out
for mercy in the aftermath of his foolishness, but I ask of you, oh my brothers, to decry this man!
Show him no mercy and instead shame him, the feckless being. Dont let his dark deeds hide in
the shadows, but instead exhume his wicked deeds for the whole world to see! Oh, he may try
and dissemble his deeds, but you must not fall for his trickery! I know this matter may seem as
though it were not in propinquity to your daily affairs, but I assure you that there are hints of it
lurking in the shadows.
