$ Performed moving and packing duties on a part time basis.
$ Worked on office moves, warehouse duties, and out of town moves.

April 1984 - March 2009 - PSC Metals Inc. / Steiner-Liff Iron and Metal Co. - Senior Scale Buyer
$ Responsible for weighing, grading, and issuing pay vouchers for ferrous scrap metal loads
delivered into the plant. Extensive knowledge of what materials can be shredded in an automobile
shredder and what materials cannot be shredded. Instructed customers on how to upgrade their
products from unprepared grades to prepared grades of plate and structural steel. Coordinated and
managed a customer base of over 300 individual scrap metal peddlers.

$ Proficient knowledge of SAI computer software applications used at the truck scale. Worked
closely with the accounting dept. with new and updated customer information to be applied to the
master customer files.

$ Answered all customer phone calls to the scale and gave price quotes for all grades of scrap iron.
Gave general information details on what materials were acceptable and what materials were not
acceptable.

$ Maintained EXCEL spreadsheets for individual customer prices according to grade.

$ Responsible for the screening of scrap metal loads through radiation detectors set up at the truck
scale. Trained in procedures in case of a positive alarm and how to identify potentially hazardous
materials coming into the plant.

$ Maintained shipping schedules for shredder residue products that were shipped to consumers on
EXCEL spreadsheets. Dispatched and coordinated with trucking companies to haul these
materials and keep inventories on the yard at acceptable levels.

$ Charged with training new scale buyers at the scale.

$ Attended a Metals Identification seminar (Nov. 1994) sponsored by the Institute of Scrap
Recycling Industries in St. Louis, Mo.

$ Completed a Windows 2000 training course (Oct 2002) at New Horizons Computer Center.

$ Completed an EXCEL 1 training course (Oct 2002) at New Horizons Computer Center.

$ Completed a Leadership Training course (Jan. 2007) for PSC Metals in Cleveland, Oh.
