advance as possible

5- Setting Professional Workplace Boundaries
Every member of a team has a role to play in the smooth running of a
department, team and workplace as a whole. It is important for us all to
remember that we are exemplars for the children we teach and they will
model themselves on the behavioural examples we set.
Using respectful tone and language when speaking to one another.

Ensuring co-workers adopt a professional attitude and approach

towards each other.

Focusing professionally on work objectives even with people you

may not like or may have personal conflict.

Informal chatting / gossip

Ensure anything said confidentially remains confidential.

Be mindful when engaging in work gossip. Unprofessional
comments can easily be passed around and back to the person in
question.
Avoid workplace banter and personal remarks and jokes. Be aware
of scapegoating one person. The workplace is an intimate area and
people can easily be made to feel uncomfortable.
