Maka-Diyos:
The translation for this word is being for God and it means Godliness. We can
understand godliness by the rituals of honoring God. Being maka-Diyos is very
important. Why? Of course we know that God made us and we must thank him for that,
that we lived in this world with happiness. Even though living in this world is not full of
happiness but we tend to be happy for some time. Being maka-Diyos means being a
prayerful person. You must be virtuous in order to show that youre a maka-Diyos
person.
Maka-tao
The meaning of this is being respectful to your kapwa Tao. If you have pagmamahal to
your kapwa, then it is pagiging maka-tao, we must respect others for what they have, for
who they are, and for what they are regardless in texture and race. If you love your
kapwa then you would always think of his/her own well. Think of their future, help them
if they need your help because someday they would also give their help to you. Love
and Respect your kapwa.
