firstoneofwhichmustbeoneofthefollowing:Bulgarian,Croatian,Czech,Danish,
Dutch,Estonian,Finnish,Greek,Hungarian,Latvian,Lithuanian,Polish,Portuguese,
Romanian,Slovak,SlovenianorSwedish.
Thesecondsourcelanguagemustbedifferentfromthefirstsourcelanguageandcan
beanyofthelanguagesmentionedaboveorFrench,German,ItalianorSpanish.

Minimumrequirements
Youneedtomeetthesamebasiccriteriaaspermanentofficials,butyouwon'tneedto
enteranopenEUcivilservicecompetition.

Durationofcontracts
1to4yearswiththepossibilityofoneextensionofamaximumoftwoyearssubjecttothe
decision.Note:inany12yearperiod,youcannotworkfortheEuropeanCommissionon
nonpermanentcontractsformorethan7yearsintotal(alltypesofcontractcombined).

Probationaryperiod
9months
