Research and its Relevance
Research is a systematic process of acquiring knowledge to discover new facts, to
confirm results of previous studies, improve established principles and many more which is of
relevance in various fields of life. Because research is methodical, many questions by man have
been answered validly and these answers lead to thousands of different innovations and
discoveries that we perceive nowadays. Truly, without research, it is impossible for us humans to
attain not only the advancement in ways of living but also the better understanding of different
elements and principles in this world that we have now.
There are many branches of knowledge under research. Research is actually a very broad
topic. It may be done in different ways and may be based on diverse disciplines but these packs
of knowledge are related in terms of their relevance to each other. A certain branch of knowledge
cannot stand alone without a link to another branch of knowledge. For instance, chemistry is not
just qualitative but also quantitative. Therefore, mathematics is needed and is relevant to this
field of knowledge. Similarly, other research fields are also simultaneously correlated with each
other. This just proves that every other knowledge has its own relevance to a certain field of
knowledge.
These branches of knowledge, if correlated appropriately, will establish a holistic
comprehension of a certain issue, question, and phenomenon that will eventually lead to an
integrated response of humans to the world they live in.
