Accounting is the task of taking all transactions of a business and figuring out a way

to create a report for a month, a quarter or a year. On the other hand finance deals
with the historical information analysis of a company and forecast, projection and
planning of future business activities like payment of debts, financing of capital,
future payrolls, funding needed, budgeting etc. These differences are due to the fact
that accountants deal with numbers that have already occurred and finance people
take these numbers and project them forward.
