This is a GROUP PROJECT. Students will form groups of 2-4 and the grade for the project as a whole will
be given to all group members individually as 90% of their grade. 10% of the individual grade will be
based on the average rating given each student by their fellow group members. Being actively involved
in your group is thus highly recommended.

Phase 1: Data Collection

For each person in your group, you will measure the height and arm span of 10 people. To avoid
measuring the same person twice, each group member must measure 10 different people than anyone
else in the group. To measure arm span, have the subject stand upright with both arms outstretched at
right angles to the body, and measure between the tips of the middle fingers, holding the measuring
tape taut. Enter the data in the tables below. Use only as many tables as you have people in your group.

Phase 2: Linear Regression Calculation

Go to https://www.easycalculation.com/statistics/regression.php and enter your data above. Use
"height" as an x-value and "span" as a y-value. It will calculate the regression line and give you its
equation.
