institutes, when it declared open the First Marine Navigation Ship in Campus Training Facility in Sri
Lanka the M.V. CINEC MARINER at the Campus premises located in Malabe. This state-of-the-art
training facility was declared open by Capt. Hemraj Shetty, Director, Fleet Personnel - Seaspan
Ship Management ltd.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests - Mr. Ajith Senaviratne Director General
Merchant Shipping, Mr. Leslie Hemachandra IMO Consultant, Admiral Jayanath Colombage
Chairman, Nautical Institute , Capt. Ravi Jayarathne Representative, Company of Master Mariners
Sri Lanka, Mr. Asoka Kuruppu Chairman, Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology

The M. V. CINEC MARINER was designed and build by CINEC'S very own Navigational & Marine
Engineering students with the help of the CINEC staff.
CINEC Not only offer extensive, specialized training, it also helps "students" define and identify
career goals and chart their long-term career path. The curriculum elevates a career in the aftermarket based on recognized standards in the industry. It also gives the attendees new tools to
