In conjunction of the English Language Week, lots of activities were carried out
during the week. The objective of the English Language Week was to make sure
that pupils are aware of the importance of English Language. Secondly, it was to
encourage all students to make use of the English Language in this school
visible.
The first activity is the inter class debate. Representatives of each class were
given different topics and divided into groups and were judged by our English
teacher, Mr. Michael. All participants tried their best and their performance was
spectacular. The representatives from 3A2 won the competition.
After that, the spelling bee competition was carried out in the class. Spelling
bees can improve students' spelling, increase their vocabulary and develop
correct English usage. The champion from each class received amazing prices.
Last but not least, scrabble competition also carried out during the whole
week. Everyone was invited to participate in the competition and we received
overwhelming responses from the students.
Overall, all the activities were carried out smoothly as everyone had a
wonderful time during that week. However, we encourage more students to
participate in similar activities in the future.
