Application for Indian Medicine Courses

Distribution of applications to the five and half-year under
graduate courses for academic year 2015-16 offered under
the Indian Systems of medicine began at various government
colleges in the State.
Form will be issued till july 24 at all the government Indian
medical system colleges on the Indian Madicine Campus in
Arumbakkam besides government colleges in Palayamkottai,
Madurai and Nagercoil. Application can also be down loaded
from www.tnhealth.org.
Applicants must provide a request letter along with a DD
for Rs.500 drawn in favour of The Director of Indian Medicine
and Homoeopathy. Chennai-106 from any nationalised bank
on or after June 29 payable at Chennai.
No application fee will be charged for SC, SCA and ST
candidates provided they submit a written request along with
self-attested photostat copies of the community certificate and
Plus-Two mark sheet.

Worthwhile Gases Enters Tamil Nadu

handigarh-based Worthwhile Gases Private Limited (WGPL)

has entered into a Master Franchise alliance with VM Agencies to
cater to the market demand for non-subsidized LPG gas cylinders in
Tamil Nadu.
The primary offering of this franchise arrangement will be "my
gas", the non-subsidized LPG cylinders available in 6 kg (priced at
Rs 392); 15 kg (priced at Rs 981) and 17 kg (priced at Rs 1112) variants.
The USP of the franchise mode is that ensuring delivery of cylinders
to all its consumers in minimum time.
For pre-lunch bookings, delivery at doorstep will be made post
lunch. For post lunch orders, it will be delivered in the early half of

WGPL has put in place a dedicated call centre to handle all the
calls of every consumer at a toll free number 18004190699. No matter
what the issue is, consumers will be ensured that the same is resolved
in the shortest possible timeframe.
According to oil industry sources, bulk LPG requirement in Tamil
Nadu is 1.2 million tonnes per annum, while availability is only 0.4
million tonnes per annum. WGPL is looking to play an important role
in addressing the needs of LPG non-subsidized user segment out of
1.53 crore LPG customers in the State.
"For Tamil Nadu we have tied up with an operational bottling
plant and this plant, with an installed capacity of 1,000 metric tons, is
located in Thiruvallur district. Hence, technically we are ready to launch
commercial operations immediately", said Mr Jain, adding that in the
state we look at setting up 6 Franchise for 6 districts (Chennai,
Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Tiruppur & Salem) in the first 3
months of operations. We will have a high focus on Bulk, Industrial &
Commercial sales, which is our specialization. In the first year of
