Summer Programme Field Trip

On Saturday, we went into Berita Satu. We used the lift to go to the 11th floor.
There was a PR named Aichih. Mr. Aichih told us information about Berita Satu and also
our questions for the project. First, we went into the room for making the news. We got
information such as how to get good news. Mr. Aichih told us the reason why Berita Satu
watched other TV station. He said that it for kept them competing with other TV station.
Mr. Aichih said that Berita Satu was the best TV station in Indonesia alongside TV One
and Metro TV. He said that the news was prepared 5-7 hours before its air. He told us
that Berita Satu was bought a router for getting foreign news. He said to us how Berita
Satu processing the data and made it into great news. He said that there is a person that
controlled the data before its air on TV. Mr. Aichic said that the cameraman could take a
video for about 1-2 hours, but they cut it to find the best scenes for 1 2 minutes. He
also said that Berita Satu could take a picture up to 20 meters using a drone. The workers
in Berita Satu work entry based on working hours. For example, if someone got a duty to
edit for the morning show, it means that she/he should come in the morning. Mr. Aichih
said that if someone didnt come/late, she/he should told theyre friends to do their job.
Mr. Aichih also told us the reason why Berita Satu blurs the image. He said because the
criminals will always remember, so they also kept the criminals privacy.
After that, we went to the studio. In there, we saw a live TV show. Mr. Aichih
said that we can watch the show, but we should be silent. He said that we could interview
the host of the show to get the answer for our project. The host finished their job at
10.00, so we could interview them after that. We just had few minutes to interview them
because theyre too busy.
