This is for assignment SW 4020. This assignment fulfilled Competency 2.1.9.

This paper spoke

of the homelessness in Detroit; I was able to present scientific data to support my topic of choice.
I discussed an assessment and an intervention plan in regard to the homelessness. I was able to
conduct a survey on this issue and I must say I received some wonderful and truthful feedback.
Competency 2.1.9, Continuously discover, appraise, and attend to changing locales,
populations, scientific and technological developments, and emerging societal trends to provide
relevant services; provide leadership in promoting sustainable changes in service delivery and
practice to improve the quality of social service. I enjoy helping the homeless, I am resourceful
in some information that will benefit this population thanks to my field placement and attained
education.
