will be taking part in a mini soccer camp
organized by Athletes in Action. Each class will
have one period with the instructors.
School Renovations
Over the summer, 2 classrooms will receive
some much needed updates, and the office area
will be reconfigured. We look forward to the
new look!
Move Up Day
On Thursday June 26, our returning students
will spend one period in their 2015-2016
classroom where they will meet their teacher,
classmates, and spend time in their new
classroom. For those Kindergarten students for
whom it is not their Kindergarten day, they will
receive a special note indicating the time they
will be invited to attend for this event.
Year-End Celebration
Monday June 29th at 9:30 am we will be
having a Year-end Celebration. Parents are
invited to this celebration in our school gym.
All students in K-8 will be honored with a
certificate indicating some of their
achievements this year. The program will also
include some music and other tributes.
Students are welcome to go home with their
parents after the program. Students who are
not going home will be dismissed at the end of
the school day.

School Picnic Day

On Friday June 26, all students are invited to take
part in our annual school picnic. This event takes
place on the Grade 4-8 playground. There will be 5
event stations each for grades K-4, and grades 5-8
that students will rotate through during the
morning. Students are asked to report to their
homerooms in the morning for attendance, and then
they will head to the gym where they will be
grouped according to house groups. The first
activity will start at 9:15 am. When the students
have completed the stations, there will be some
large group games. For those that ordered lunch, it
will ready at 11:45 am on the east side of the
school. Watermelon will be provided for everyone.
Students will be asked to start getting ready
(change into swim wear) at 12:30, and students will
board the buses at 12:45.
IF parents are transporting their own children to the
pool, please inform the classroom teacher.
