" Mark a line xy orthogonal to the direction of maximum slope of the roof, usually parallel to the
eaves and to the gutter at 44,5 cm from the gutter (orange line) or more generally at 44,5 cm
from the starting point (i.e. yellow line 2 ). D
" Mark along the line xy a point A. This point must respect the scheme of the electrical project.
" Mark points B e C, at either side from A (for example at 150 cm).
" Starting from B and C, by using a chalk line as a compass, mark point D as near as possible to
the Ridge.
" Join A with D.
" Mark parallel to line AD, at a distance of 288 cm, the lines needed for completing the
installation scheme.
" Starting from the line xy, mark horizontal and parallel lines to the line xy, at a distance of 38,5
cm from each other up to the completing of the installation scheme. (Fig. 6B)
" The parts of the roof not interested in the installation of Tegosolar shall be marked following the
installation instructions of the shingles that shall complete the roof and that shall be installed at
the same time, as per the following instructions.

NAILS INSTALLATION Tegosolar: slope limits for installation with nails or torch on
Tegosolar, installed by nails, on a wooden roof deck, becomes a waterproofing layer thanks to the Slope Length of the pitch
overlapping of its elements. This installation method needs a minimal slope of the roof, which has to be of the roof Up to 7 m From 7 to 10 m From 10 to 15 m

which is running on it, and its progressive elongation increases the infiltration risk. Consequently, before
installing with nails, we suggest to have a look at the Table 1. We also remind that these information are From 35% to 40% Nail installation Nail installation

Should the slope of the roof and / or its length do not permit to install with nails, the following procedure
shall be done: torch on the surface of the roof (wooden plates, plywood or cement) a plastomeric Tab.1
waterproofing membrane, with polyester reinforcement, 4 mm thick. The membrane shall be selected
with the suitable elongation, according to the type of roof deck. Further than a perfect waterproofing
the selected membrane shall have to assure a good sticking both on the support and on Tegosolar. Left side:
