REASONS

STEPS:

Plastic waste placed on conveyor belt for shredding and drying

Then put in an air-tight thermal chamber for (pyrolysis) i.e., the granulated plastic
gets melted into vapour that is distilled into a golden liquid

ADVANTAGES

Pollutants from incinerator is minimum

Cleaner fuel since very low sulphur content
20-30% cheaper than other fuels since large availability of plastic waste and lower
production cost
