7. Excursions
All students do excursions in Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania or Kenya before they graduate. The institute
communicates to students the next excursion 3 months in advance.
On top of the excursions, Cabin Crew Students are required to fly to South Africa for 6 weeks get handson experience. TIEA works with South Africa airlines to get tickets at a subsidized price. The package for
the excursion include: return air ticket, local transport, meals, accommodation, and excursion fee.
8. Lecturer/Student Ratio
We maintain a small number between Lecturer/Student ratio in order for our students to study in a
more personal way. Students freely interact with lecturers and vice-versa. The interactions enhance
students learning. We maintain a Mentorship approach with students and through this approach, we
not only meet their Academic needs- we also address their wholistic needs (Academics, Emotional,
Psychological, Social and Spiritual).
