In this lesson, students will learn about lines and color by creating a work of art that
demonstrates different art principles. They will watch a short video that demonstrates how to
complete this art assignment and that will also describe certain art vocabulary. After watching the
video, the students will make their own art project, by drawing different lines on a blank sheet of
paper with a black crayon. Those lines will create different shapes, and the students will paint
them in with watercolors.
Integration of Technology:
I will be integrating technology by filming and editing a video that demonstrates how to
do the art project.
