I am responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children that
complies with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures. I talk with parents about behavioral ups and downs. I
develop activities to stimulate childrens hands-on learning through literacy and early education. I nurture children,
provides meals, crafts, and instruction, and ensures students are clean and kept safe.

As a reading paraprofessional, I work with reading specialists and teachers to assist struggling readers. This
role includes implementing lessons and instructing students in ways to improve their reading proficiency. An
essential part of this role was communicating successes and concerns with teachers and literacy staff.

performed all responsibilities as lead teacher, including instruction, classroom management, assessment, lesson

As a student teacher I was able to fully run a classroom and all associated tasks. This included but was not
limited to: working with children at various learning levels, working with LD and CI students, preparing indepth unit plans on thematic subjects, and constant communication with parents, colleagues, and students. I
was able to involve techniques of differentiation, progress monitoring, and blooms taxonomy, among others.
Outside the classroom, I was involved with professional development, regular faculty meetings, and the
reading committee.
