Overview
Very motivated and focused Music Educator who is committed to student growth and excellence in all
areas of education and life. Driven to provide a well-rounded education in music that develops previous
knowledge in other content areas and adds to that knowledge as well. Prioritizes involvement in school

Lois Lenski Elementary School

Elementary Student Teaching Placement. Worked with Angela Gregory teaching K-5 general music.
Rocky Mountain High School

January 2015 March 2015

Secondary Student Teaching placement. Worked with Elizabeth Hohweiler and the staff at RMHS teaching 4
choirs and assisting with the musical production of Crazy For You.
August 2014 December 2014
High School practicum & student teaching for EDUC450 at CSU. Worked with Rocky Mountain Singers, the
top mixed choir at Rocky, every Tuesday and Thursday. Responsibilities include: Leading sectionals, warmups, rehearsing music, giving feedback on rehearsals and helping individual students with auditions or
assignments.
Lincoln Middle School

January 2014 May 2014

Middle School practicum for EDUC350 at CSU. Worked every Tuesday and Thursday with students in music
classrooms at Lincoln for 4 hours in either Choir or Orchestra.
Littleton High School

March 2013

Volunteered for one school week, 8 hours a day at Littleton working with the ensembles and music classes
under Jim Farrell. I continue to volunteer there, when I have time, for more experience in front of a class.

Education
Colorado State University

2011 - 2015

Attended CSU as a Music Education Major with a Concentration in Voice. Was a member of the CSU
Chamber Choir, and was Vice President of CSUs chapter of the Collegiate National Association for Music

Education. I hold a cumulative GPA of 3.79 and I have been on the Deans List four times in my four years. I
also graduated with Distinction Cum Laude in May 2015.

Vice President of CNAfME, CSU

2013 2015

CNAfME is an education based student organization that serves to better the music educators at CSU. It
stands for Collegiate National Association for Music Education and the goal is to provide teaching
experience, professional development, networking opportunities, and social support to its members. Being
Vice President includes responsibilities such as yearly planning, facilitating chapter meetings, and being a
resource and role model to members.
