Solar Energy

WAVE ENERGY
(WATER WAVES)
Where the energy comes from?
- Scientist are not sure, where the energy
comes from.

HOW IT WORKS

The up and down motion of the floats can be

used to make electricity

ADVANTAGES

Renewable- it can be used again and again.

Environmental friendly- It is not dangerous
to the environment.
Easily predictable- it can be predict easily
rather than other renewable resources.
No damage to land- unlike fossil fuel which
cause massive damage to land as they can
leave large holes while damage to earth. It is
safe, clean and one of the preferred method
to extract energy from the ocean.

DISADVANTAGES

Suitable to certain location only.

Effects on the marine ecosystem.
Wave length.
Noise and visual pollution.

Solar Energy

SOLAR ENERGY
Where does the energy comes from?
- The Sun

HOW IT WORKS

The sun heat and light energy are converted

into electrical energy by solar cells/panels.

ADVANTAGES

Renewable
Cost-Saving: we dont need pay monthly
electrical bills.
Environmental friendly: its electricity
produced by the sun does not damage the
environment.
Safe for installing solar panels.
Anyone can use it according to our budget.

DISADVANTAGES

Its intermittent- Solar energy only available

when the sun shines only. But now some solar
panels can store electrical energy absorbed
in the morning and use it at night.
Its low efficiency: It requires large areas of
land. Which lead to clearing down forest for
more land.
Pollution, cause by material of solar panels.
