Do conversation with the partner to ask student questions and let the partner to answer.
Teaching goal
To teach them how to do conversation with the partner and speak with them in a good way and let student
to respond to the speaker questions, and recognize to the kind of questions, and how able to answers it.
Learning objectives
Students will be able to:

Practice conversations finding out about favorite artists.


Play a game to practice yes/No questions using past simple.

Assumptions about prior learning


Students will know some meaning of words and will be able to read them and know the famous writers and
artists.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
Ss may be confused to answers to the questions, and how to do the conversation with their partner. So, in
this case I will take out one student to do with her conversation and show students an example of how they
will do the conversation.
Ss may get overexcited when working in group, so I will need to be firm about instructions.
Personal focus for this lesson
I will give clear, firm instructions and move to the next stage or activity when the students find the meaning
of the words or write the sentences.
My PDP:
Goal 1: Time management through the lesson.
Goal 2: Communication skills with the students by using body language, eye contact, and voice.
Goal 3: Classroom management: focus on maintains space, motivation, and provides challenge for
the learners.

Who is your favourite writer?


Is he/she a man or wamon?
When was he/she born?
Etc.

Each group has sheet (brainstorm) to write


an exmples words of art and literature.
Who will read conversation 1. Who will be
Jussim and Hosni?
What do you noticed in the answers. We
used past simple because we talked about
famous writer. For instance, asking about
born and dead.

Brainstorm

Each group has sheet to write in each box

let them to work in group. After that, I will let
them to discuss the answers as whole class
and tell us the content of word such as
painter is an art, and novel is a literature,
etc.

Activity 1: (pair work) Converstation1

I will call each student number, and they will


find their partner according to the number.
For instance, Aaesha had number 1, and
Amna had number 1, so Aaesha will work
with Amna, etc.

I will give for each group worksheet and


give them instruction of it.

For instance, Aaesha will ask Amna


questions and Amna respond to Aaesha
question and and answer it, like doing as
speaking.

I will work around students to listen to their


conversations.

I will let students to show as their


conversation as whole class. (if they want to
share it)

I will let them to switch with their partner like


this time Amana will ask Aaesha questions
and Aaesha will ansewer it.

Activity 2: (pair work)Conversation 2 as game

This activity the speaker will guess which


artis she thinking of and let the partner to
think the artis that speaker thought about it.
After that, the partner will ask speaker
questions as was the artis a painter, etc to
find her thought and speaer will say no till to
say yes and then they will switch.

Each students has sheet and ask your


partner to the questions. Do converstation, I
will work around you.
Who want to share or do conversation with
your partner to show it for whole class.
