The count is from the star in which the Sun is posited

to the star in which the Moon is on the required day. In Vrishaba Chakra the stars 8 to 11, 15 to 18 and 23 to 28 are auspicious.
In kalasa Chakra the stars 6 to 9, 10 to 13 and 22 to 27 are auspicious
