1.InstallElectronicGamingMachinefirmware(A4.2.1orhigher).
a.IntheGameConfigurationMenu,settheCommsProtocoltoGamma.
b.IntheSPCConfigurationmenu:
i.Setthefourleftdigitsofthe
SPCIDNumbertotheappropriateSASaddressforPort1(H3).(Note,leadingzerosarenotallowed).
ii.SetthefourrightdigitsoftheSPCIDNumberto0001fortheaccountingsystemconnectedtoPort0(H4).
iii.SettheSingle/DualPortoptiontoDualPort.
2.InstalltheproperversionofGamSAS2firmwareintoSPC2socketU3.
3.ConnecttheSPC2totheEGMusingcableUS1003.
a.EGMbackplaneP19(BDACOM)andP23(COM2/COM4/MIKOHN)
b.SPC2connectorsH2(EGMComms)andH8(power).
4.InitializetheSPC2nonvolatileSRAM.
a.InsertajumperlinkingJ211withJ213.
b.ApplypowerandwaituntiltheLEDflickersrapidly.
c.Removepower.
d.Removejumper.
e.Applypower.
5.ConnecttheSystemInterfaceboardcablestotheSPC2.
a.ConnecttheaccountingsystemtoPort0(connectorH4).
b.ConnectthefiberopticinterfaceboardtoPort1(connectorH3).
c.Theseconnectionsmaybereversedifalladdressinganddataoptionsarealsoreversed,i.e.
WV.
