Based on the rating for PCI value of 21, this section of pavement is in very poor condition.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, as we carry out investigations on the road that we have chosen for 2
km, we found a variety of road defects such as alligator cracking, bleeding, bumps and sags,
longitudinal and transverse cracking, rutting, weathering, and swell . After we identify the
damage, we compute the Pavement Condition Index (PCI). The pavement condition that we
got was very good, good and very poor. For the very good condition, the road just need to
preventive maintenance needed and meets current standards. For good condition, the rood
need to route and preventive maintenance needed, meets standards with minor defects and
acceptable physical condition. For very poor, the road need to reconstruction significant
renewal and upgrade needed asset barely serviceable. Last but not least, for this project we
can learn and understand the PCI concepts more easily.
