Education is necessary for everyone, it helps us get better opportunities in
life and uplift our social status.We should value and seize the opportunity of
education because the knowledge that we gained through education enables us to
grow as an individual.
Jose Rizal at young age understand the importance of education in one's life.
More than knowledge Rizal gain in his education, it is the wisdom and passion that
made him a better person and help him build his identity. Rizal realized that
education can break the chain of our ignorance and the key to open the blind eyes
of Filipinos.For Rizal, the mission of education is to elevate the country to the
highest seat of glory and to develop the peoples mentality. Since education is the
foundation of society and a prerequisite for social progress, Rizal claimed that only
through education could the country be saved from domination. Rizal express how
he truly value education in his writings wherein he sought the improvements in the
schools and the methods of teaching. Rizal excel in everything he does and give his
hundred percent effort to complete all his tasks. Also Rizal use his knowledge and
wisdom that he develops through his education to gain freedom from the oppressor
by means of pens and not a bloody revolution which is unique about Rizal and he
proves that more than aiming what we hope for it is the process on how we can
achieve our goals that counts and defines every individual.
