Purpose of Interview:
What is the purpose of this interview?
The purpose of this interview is to find out the key information on the Henley on
Thames construction site during Regatta, I will be asking a site construction manager
Allan Quelch questions on the famous event from.

Circle which of the following formats it will be;

News Programme
National News Bulletin
Local News Bulletin
Community News Bulletin

Add research demonstrating the format of this interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTi-AxeiEVA
This is an interview from BBC Oxfordshire about the homeless charity that has been
funding bid in the opus charity competition.
This interview suits my style for the interview because it is very formal and calm
instead of having a really lively interview, the interview will obviously be chatty
asking questions on the regatta and it is informative instead of entertainment.

Structuring your interview: Scripts and Question Formulation

Question: why do you prepare for the regatta so early?

Likely Response:
Because it gives us an opportunity not to rush anything
and take your time to get the job perfect.

Question: do you get food and accommodation provided?

Likely Response:
Yes but its not the best food around but its good enough
to get us working! And its the same again with the
accommodation its not the best comfort but its better than
nothing

Next Question: do you get an opportunity to enjoy any of the regatta?

Likely Response:
Yes I get all the VIP areas and special treats

Next Question: whats the best thing about working on the regatta and what is the
worst thing?

Likely Response:
The best thing is probably having a laugh and getting very
good salary and at the end of the job seeing what you
have produced, and the worst is working in the terrible
weather conditions.

Question: whats your idea of having a laugh on the site?

Likely Response:
Playing out some music loud having a sing along with the
lads and most probably after a hard day of work going to
the pub and having a pint.

Next Question: is it difficult working with all the regatta traffic?

Likely Response: no because we prepare the tents and

VIP areas all before the event so we dont have to worry.

Next Question: if you had the opportunity to do this event again would you? And
what do you think the regatta brings to Henley?

Likely Response: yes I would love to! Its great experience

and it can give you some great memories! I think it brings
joy and fun and promotes Henley on Thames

Interview Style
What will your interview style be? (Formal, informal and chatty, intense,
questioning, argumentative, friendly, jokey)
The interview style will be very formal and questioning

Because its very easy going and more interesting

Add research of other interviews/news shows where the presenter has a

similar style. You can insert another page here for your research.

Make sure that my questions will be clear and calm nothing too loud to put the
viewers of the radio show.

Order of Content
Why is it important to consider the order in which news is presented?
Because you want to start the radio show off in a good order so when the listeners
here the first story and find it interesting they will want to listen to more so always
start off with a strong beginning.

What is the order of content for your show?

Regatta

Because all of our radio interviews are based around Henley so we decided to start
with the most interesting topic so we can get the viewers attention and then
proceed with other interviews.

The target audience for our news broadcasts is aimed at everyone depending on the
