We are excited to have you as our partner in preventing the spread of HINI influenza. ‘The HINT CCN was, created to keep Baltimore County residents informed about the latest developments in HINT influenza. As we receive updates, we will summarize them into messages that we hope will be useful to you and your family Wr receive our HINI reports dircetly from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDQ) and the Maryland Department of Iealth and Mental {Tygiene (DHMH). For this reason, you ean be assured that we are sharing the most current and accurate information available to us. We are pleased that you have chosen to become our partner in this effort. Baltimore County HINI Announcements ~ Baltimore County HIN1 Flu Clinies Upcoming FREE HIN1 Flu Clinics (for Priority Groups ONLY) Note: ‘The clinics listed below are for the priority groups only. Priority Groups for HINI Vaccination Everyone is at risk for the 2009 HINI Influenza Virus. However, there are some people who are at greater risk for the virus aad its complications. This means that these people are more likely (0 get very ill or even die from the virus. For this reason, these groups and those who live with or provide care for them should be vaccinated first against HIN1 influenza, The people who are being targeted first for HINI vaccination are: © Pregnant Women Household Contacts and Caregivers of Children Under 6 Months Old * Healtheare Workers and Emergency Medical Services Personnel Children and Young Adults Ages 6 Months to 24 Years Old © Adults Ages complications to 64 Years with health conditions that place them at greater tisk of influenza In the coming weeks, there will be HINI influenza vaccination clinics that are only available to the groups listed above.
