The Efficient Two Cycle Stroke Engine
There is nothing better for a teenager to save money on gasoline. There is a new
engine that is a lot more efficient, less weight, and uses less gasoline and oil. A new and
improved two stroke engine is lighter, more efficient, and is a better engine. On a normal
two stroke engine, it would use more petroleum and oil then the efficient two stroke
engine.
Many machines have two stroke cycle engines. Most outdoor equipment has two
stroke cycle engines. The examples of these are: push mowers, snow blowers, weed
eaters, and many more machines. On a normal two stroke cycle engine, the crankshaft
connects to the bottom of the piston, making more friction. Friction is not good because
the more friction you have, the more money you spend on parts and repairs.
There is a lot of research on this new two stroke engine. On the new and
improved two stroke engine the crankshaft connects to the piston by its side. It delivers
the same amount of power as the original two stroke engine. On this engine, there are
two pistons that alternate between other two pistons. This engine has less friction
meaning fuel efficiency increases upward (Eco motors). Not only does it cut down on
fuel, but saves on wear and tear.

The new two stroke engine has fewer parts than the original two stroke engine. It
also means less money spent on parts and repairs. It also has a smaller weight than the
original two stroke engine. Meaning if you put this in a car, the cars most likely will be a
smaller weight. It is also compact so you can fit in smaller cars. The efficient two stroke
engine is 30 percent lighter (Popular Mechanics).
The new two stroke engine has two cylinders, and four pistons moving at
alternate times meaning it runs for a further distance and works better overall (Eco
motors). Eco Motors spent 18 million to test this engine. Eco Motors also took 218
million in loans from the United States (Technology review). It is still in the testing
process. The company still has to test it in different weather conditions. At this point, it
could take about four to five years to reach the consumer.
On this engine, it has 180 foot pounds of torque and has up to 200 horsepower
(Paul Crowe). Torque is the rotational power of the crankshaft and the piston.
Horsepower is how much power you have in your crankshaft and the piston.
In the upcoming future, this engine will save you gasoline and oil. This engine is
compact meaning the cost will be down. In the long run will save you money over a
period of time.
The bad things about this engine are that once the engine is on the streets, every
gasoline pump will need an oil pump. The cost of testing the engine is bad because it
cost them 18 million dollars. It would also mean the gasoline price could go up because
there is a new product out. It would also mean that the materials could be a bit pricey.
