In my group, there changes that are needed to change for our film show. For
example, we email Miss Schutze our idea for the show and whether she approved
it. Miss Schutze approved it our idea, however she considered us adding more
topics in the show since is based on films, such as interviewing professionals that
work in the film industry, film at premieres and more.

Feedback:

In another lesson, our group had a talk with Mr Barton about our film show idea
and asked us who we were going to interview and why. Nathan wanted to
interview a director, named Ben Mallaby, and talk about his latest projects.
Kieran wanted to interview a man who happens to be the Head of Media in the
MCC and know how things are done there. I wanted to interview people on the
reviews and find out what people thought of new upcoming films such as Fast
and Furious 7 or Avengers: Age of Ultron. He suggest that we add others things in
the show that relate to films others than our interviews to keep our audience
interested. After receiving all these feedback, my group and I started having
meeting and discussing what to do and when to interview the people we have
planned. In order to get our interviewers in order, we have to make sure that we
get our interviewees, so we emailed and message them and waited for their
response. Nathan emailed a film director and lecturer at Ravensbourne, Ben
Mallaby. He also emailed a BFI mentor, Allison Wright. Kieran interviewed Head of
Media in the MCC, Neil Priscott. I emailed a student at Greenwich University and
waited for her response.

My Email conversation:

In the meantime, when we were waiting for responses, we started planning our
show. For example, what to call it, how the show will start and end. For example,
we planned on doing the script and storyboard before everything else. We later
did the health and safety risk assessment to make us aware of the dangers that
we could face during our shoot. We also did the questionnaires for what we are
going to ask the interviewees. At first, I thought that I was going to interview Ben
Mallaby and ask him about career advice so I made up a questionnaire. I then
received feedback from Mr Barton about the questions I put. Later I decided to
do something else so Nathan had to look at the questions more since that the
questions there were more relatable to his interview. However we still helped
each other with the questionnaire. We took away some of the questions that
were not relevant to the topic.

After I did the planning, we then received the responses from our interviewees
and had to send the questions. I didnt get the person I wanted to interview so I
decided to get other people I know from this college who can give me the
answers I want. Nathan and Kieran received permission to use the people they
wanted to interview.

After we received of our interviewees, Nathan and I went to Ravensbourne on

Thursday 7th of May to meet up with Ben Mallaby whereas Kieran went to central
London to interview Neil Priscott. I went with Nathan to set up the equipment.
This was easier for Nathan because he didnt need to worry about the lighting or
the camera shots when interviewing Ben Mallaby. Kieran went to Neil Priscott and
successfully interviewed him.

After we did our interviews, we went to the Mac room and edited our show.
