Brittany Bootka has worked as a substitute in two different AI classrooms in the Avondale School District during the 2014-2015 school year. Her strong work ethic is obvious, as she navigates college courses for her Master's degree. Based on her performance and dedication in our district, I urge you to consider Brittany as a serious candidate for any open positions.

Auburn Hills, MI May 12, 2015 RE: Letter of Recommendation for Brittany Bootka To Whom This May Concern, I wish to recommend Brittany Bootka for a special education teaching position. Brittany has worked as a long-term substitute in two different AI classrooms in the Avondale School District during the 2014-2015 school year. In that time, she has shown tremendous dedication and enthusiasm, and has worked hard to learn to keep students with autism effectively engaged. She honors their rights for inclusion, and unreservedly supports the peer-to-peer mentoring program in our district. Brittanys strong work ethic is obvious, as she navigates college courses for her Masters degree, while continually developing and improving materials to make accessible the curriculum for her students. Brittany continues to learn about the complex needs of her students, and successfully applies evidenced based practices with fidelity. Based on her performance and dedication in our district, I urge you to consider Brittany as a serious candidate for any open positions for which she is qualified. She proved her skills and strength of character under challenging circumstances, and will, no doubt, be a strong, ethical advocate to students in your district, as well. Please feel free to call me with any questions you have regarding Brittanys candidacy. Sincerely, Cheryl Meklir Wells 248 537 6927 (office) 248 736 0404 (cell)
