LICENSURE
Counseled individual students for academic motivation, behavioral modification and during crisis situations
Planned, presented and assessed classroom-based guidance lessons to meet specific classroom/group needs
Created a program where senior students visited eighth grade classrooms to assist in the transition to high school

Maintained an interactive classroom website to facilitate easier parent-teacher-student communication

Administered the Ohio Achievement Assessments and Ohio Graduation Tests
Conducted parent-teacher conferences and guided parents toward new understandings

Provided home-instruction to a sophomore, in all subject areas, following extensive back surgery

Promoted technology and supported my colleagues with one-on-one assistance, to integrate technology into their lessons
Increased student participation in class lessons through the use of a smart board and additional technology
Instructed an in-service session on using Google docs for more efficient communication and data collection
Assisted with all aspects of the OGT, OAA, PARCC and OCBA including test ordering and administration

Collaborated with counselors from around the state on best practices, in accordance with the ASCA National Model, at
the All Ohio Counselor Conference (AOCC) (2013 and 2014)
Instructed various U8, U10 and U12 summer league baseball teams (2012-2015)
Coached the Junior Varsity (head) and Varsity (assistant) softball teams at Western Reserve (2006-2009)
Advised and volunteered for the Mahoning County and Ohio State 4-H organization (2003- present)
