CONSTITUTION AND BY LAWS

PREAMBLE
We, the musicians of Far Eastern University, realizing the need for local organizations to
serve as a medium of expression for our ideals and aspirations, to promote the welfare
and interest of FEU student musicians to assert a dynamic responsible student
leadership, to attain the vision of every member using music as a medium and to
strengthen the common tie that binds us, do hereby adopt and promulgate this
Constitution and By-Laws.
ARTICLE I
NAME AND DOMICILE
Section 1. This organization shall be known as <insert proposed org name here>
Section 2. The domicile and principal office of this organization shall be at <insert
proposed room here>
ARTICLE II
GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION
The following are the objectives of the organization:
Section 1. To upgrade the quality and standards of music in the campus
Section 2. To develop socio-civic consciousness using music as a medium
Section 3. To promote fellowship and solidarity among student musicians within the
campus through upholding necessary projects to meet this cause
Section 4. To acquaint every student that music is not just fixed with the nature of the
word. It also has its art aspect(posters), literature aspect(song writing), and democratic
aspect (music-for-a-cause).
Section 5. To enhance the talents of every members
Section 6. To make music achievable to each and every interested students

ARTICLE III
MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. The members of this organization shall be composed mainly of students that
seeks to be part of this musicians organization.
Section 2. Bonafide Member. To be considered as a member, one must have complied
with the necessary requirements as may be sat by the incumbent Executive Committee.
Section 4. Period of Membership. The membership of this organization is for a period of
one (1) semester renewable on the succeeding semester. Indispensable with this is
payment of membership fee which is also semi-annual. Any proposed increase or
decrease in the amount of membership fee shall be:
1. Presented in a meeting of the Executive Committee prior to the first enrollment
dates in FEU.
2. Justified by the Executive Committee, enumerating the reason of the said change
in the amount of the membership fee.
3. Presented to the Student Development office for final approval.
ARTICLE IV
RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF MEMBERS
