Diploma and Certificate Courses

TUV Rheinland NIFE Academy, a 23-year-old vocational training

institute owned by the TUV Rheinland Group of Germany and having

National Skill Development Corporation of central government.

Summer Camp on astronomy

The Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre will be organising
a three-day summer school on Astronomy and Astrophysics between
May 17 and 19 for students studying in classes VII to IX. The summer
school which will be conducted from 10 am to 4pm at BM Birla
Planetorium, Periyar Science and Technology Center will be engaging
with topic such as The Fundamentals of Celestian coordinate systems,
Cosmology and the Evolution of stars among others.
The course will also have practical observational sessions using

IGNOU launches online admissions

Indra Gandhi National Open University launched an online admission system on wednesday. The system was launched by pro vice
Chancellor of IGNOU professor Nageswara Rao. Applicants will now
be able to submit their application forms online and receive instant
confirmation for successful submission of their application forms
through email and SMS.
There is the provision for payment of programme fee online using
their online payment gateway. The facility will be available for the
ongoing admission session for all the 148 academic programmes. The
onlind admission facility can be accessed on the official website of the
university www.ignou.ac.in.
The last for submission of applications for bachelor preparatory
pfogramme, certificate, advance certificate and PG Certificate
programmes will be June 15.
In case of master, bachelor PG diploma and diploma level
programme, the last date will be August 17 without late fee and August
31 with late fee of Rs.300.
