For the recent release of INSURGENT, the Lionsgate team contacted 26 library branches
in the Washington, D.C. area of the Martin Luther King, Jr. library system. The libraries
distributed t-shirts, one sheets and screening passes to teen services, which hosted INSURGENT
screenings.
The Divergent sequel, INSURGENT, has reached a domestic total of $120 million as of
April 19, 2015.
If you have any upcoming screenings that are children or family focused, this is a great
opportunity to partner with DCPL to give them promotional items, host a contest or invite them
to a screening. One excellent potential film could be PITCH PERFECT 2 for consideration.
