SPRING 2015

New York City, Here we Come!!!

The Bayside Choirs were fortunate enough to
be selected to participate in the 2015 National I
(Heart) NYC (Non-Yodeling-Children)
Convention! This convention features premiere
high school musicians from around the country,
and after a lengthy selection process- we were
one of the top schools chosen! I realize this is a
nerve wracking thing for most parents to hearbut never fear! We are going through every
process to make sure your students are kept as
safely as possible while on our trip. In the
upcoming month we will have our first parents
meeting to discuss details, and possible
fundraising events. Because we were selected

so late, we have a lot of catching up to do when

it comes to fundraising- but I have confidence
that our awesome Choir Booster parents will
find a way to make sure our students get to have
this awesome experience!!! If either student or
parent has any questions- First attend the
meeting on January 18th, and then feel free to
email me with any concerns. We are currently
seeking chaperones for this trip, and parents
willing to spear head the fund raising process.
If you are interested in helping with either of
these things, please let Ms. Bannister know,
ASAP!

The men of the Bayside Choral program,

to make this an annual tradition, so if you are
interested in performing please contact Ms. Bannister!
