D is proving to be a student with a strong will to do well in all of his academic work. Particularly pleasing have been his good results in mathematics. He needs to continue to work on improving his verbal reading skills.
D is proving to be a student with a strong will to do well in all of his academic work. Particularly pleasing have been his good results in mathematics. He needs to continue to work on improving his verbal reading skills.

D is a friendly and considerate student. In class, D continues to do well and he is proving to be a student with a strong will to do well in all of his academic work. D especially needs to be commended for his ability to listen to all information, and stay focused on the task at hand, until the assignment is completed. D has been able to complete most assignments independently. He worked especially hard on writing his own fairytale. He wrote an imaginative fairytale about three bears chasing Rapunzel because she had honey in her hair. D was also interested in the two science units covered this term on matter and plants. His favourite science experiment was blowing up a balloon using baking soda and vinegar. D raises his hand to speak and asks questions to clarify concepts or instruction. Particularly pleasing has been Ds good results in mathematics. He has demonstrated a good understanding of measuring length, perimeter, area and mass by achieving high marks on his math tests. Areas for Focus D still needs to continue to work on improving his verbal reading skills. D also needs to continue to try to add more detail to all of his written work. He has been working on adding more adjectives and describing his characters to strengthen his written work. This would help raise his work to a higher level. D can also work on checking his work carefully for any careless errors before handing it in for marking. Ways to Support Learning Thank you for your continued support with Ds learning. Encourage D to read aloud as much as possible, and question him on what he has read.
