Linux
Linux is an alternative operating system for
personal computers and servers. It competes
mainly against Microsoft's Windows. It is based
on the UNIX operating system and was
originally created by Linus Torvalds. Linux is an
operating system that evolved from a kernel
created by Linus Torvalds when he was a
student at the University of Helsinki. Generally,
it is obvious to most people what Linux is.
However, both for political and practical
reasons, it needs to be explained further.

IOS
Most information online is very technical. The
goal of this website is to explain what iOS is
in laymans terms" and ultimately define for
the layperson the meaning of iOS. In order to
really know iOS one must first understand
what it is. The basic answer to the question
What is iOS is simply this iOS is what makes
Apples mobile devices or I Devices turn on
and run all the stuff you want to do with it.
Its the basic operating system

UNIX:
UNIX is operating systems. The job of
operating systems is to orchestrate
the various parts of the computer the
processor the on board memory the
disk drives, keyboards, videos,
monitors, to perform useful task.

Windows 7
Windows 7 made its official debut to the public
on October 22, 2009 as the latest in the 25-yearold line of Microsoft Windows operating systems
and as the successor towindows vista(which
itself had followedWindows XP). Windows 7 was
released in conjunction with Windows Server
2008 R2, Windows 7's server counterpart.

byMicrosoftfor use on personal computers,
including home and businessdesktops, laptops,
netbooks,tablet PCs, andmedia centrePCs

MAC OS
TheMac OSis anoperating
systemthat was designed for the
Applecomputer. The Mac OS was
developed by Apple Inc., the
company that developed the Apple
computer, as well as a number of
other products including the iPod,
iPhone, and ipad. The Mac OS is one
of two major operating systems
available, with the other being the
Windows operating system.

File management
The computer file management
system differs from that looking up a
reference number in the library is on
a computer system, a person can
have read, write, maintenance or
backup authority on the file systems

Machine management
Machine management is special
programs designed by the hardware
vendor, which interact with the
hardware through specific addresses
and interfaces.

User interface
A user interface, also simply an
interface is the means in which a
person controls a
softwareapplicationor hardware
device. A good user interface
provides a user-friendly experience,
allowing the user to interact with the
software or hardware in a natural and
intuitive way

Security
OS security refers to specified steps
or measures used to protect the OS
from threats, viruses, worms,
malware or remote hacker
interventions

Operating systems controls every


task your computer carries out and
manage systems resources. And also
making sure they dont cross the
boarders.

Task management
Thefunctions,assumedbytheopera
