employment as a zip line guide and an at-home caregiver; Spent four
weeks as a student liaison during Semester in the Wild managing
group decisions and welcoming guests
Previous Experience
Scholarly Article Writing: Established new arguments in scholarly
conversations with the works of authors like Franz Kafka, Henry James,
Jhumpa Lahiri and Nella Larson
Research Synthesis: Synthesized the research papers of professionals
in education with my own original research
Editor: Edited professional documents for cohesion and rhetorical
effectiveness in a grant proposal, case for support and discourse
analysis
Fiction Writing: Currently developing a fictional young-adult novel
Training/Trainer: Certified as: Idaho wilderness guide, zip line guide,
first aid, CPR, home caregiver, lifeguard and disaster preparedness; I
have also trained others in zip line and life guard skills

Received the Scholars Citizenship Award for three years in high school
Led and funded a campaign to have recycling bins placed in all John
Mullan Jr/Sn. High School classrooms

including disaster preparedness, CPR, and First Aid. Also participated in
several community events that required teamwork, enthusiasm, and

West Park Elementary: One semester as a reading buddy; essentially
taught first-graders how to read
