Hi Molly Rathje
Welcome to LEA and Student Network Live (SNL)!
On behalf of the leadership team, welcome to Student Network Live! We look forward to getting to
know you and supporting all that you do!
LEA SNL is here to help you on your journey to becoming Lutheran educators. Current leaders are
Wendy Brown (Concordia Nebraska), Russ Elser (Concordia, Selma), Kacie Krause (Concordia, Texas),
Paul Mueller (Concordia, St. Paul), Sara Rolfes (Concordia Alberta/Edmonton), Jacquelin Walsh
(Concordia, Ann Arbor), and Abbey Zenk (Concordia Wisconsin). SNL hopes to have leaders at all the
Concordia's and Valpo University.
We have created a group on Facebook that we would like you to join. This will be used to organize
team meetings and keep us updated on what the other schools are doing! We hope to get the group
more active in the next year.
Those with Facebook accounts can see LEAs SNL: Student Network Live at:
http://www.new.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=27977784894&ref=mf.
You are also welcome to be part of LEAs general Facebook page
at http://www.facebook.com/pages/LEA-Lutheran-Education-Association/122185947825415?
v=wall&ref=mf, which was recently activated.
Notes about your membership and emails:
Your email address will be placed on the LEAnews list. LEAnews is sent to all LEA members
twice each week. It contains updates about information and resources available to LEA members.
Please try it for a few weeks; if you dont need it or like it, you may unsubscribe or
ask ed.grube@lea.org to unsubscribe you at any time.
The LEA website at www.lea.org is password protected using you membership ID number, which will
be made available as soon as our office processes your membership.
You indicated LEA Network preferences when you registered. Your Network options were Parish
Educators (PEN), Early Childhood Educators (ECEnet), Elementary Teachers (ETnet), Leadership
(LEADnetmostly school administration), Mission & Outreach (MOnet), and Secondary Educators
(SECnet). Each Network has a listserv of its own through which participants receive Network Tips of
the Week.
In addition, PEN and LEADnet are very active with posts and replies on practical matters of ministry.
Other Networks are eligible for posting too, they just dont use it much.

Your email address will be added to the Networks that you selected when you registered. If
you do not wish to receive these Tips of the Week, follow the unsubscribe directions or
email ed.grube@lea.org.
Please note: If you requested LEADnet, please know that this network is used primarily by school
principals. Knowing this, if you still want to try LEADnet, please request it again to ed.grube@lea.org.
