together with planned activity. Each lesson can be based around assigned problems or can be
split into groups that work off of one another.
13. I am very interested in developing role-playing, skits, and mock debates into my classroom.
These are unique ways to get students involved and eager to participate on the lesson. I feel like
the role playing can be useful for certain English lessons and debates can be used for history.
What can be included with role playing, skits, and mock debates is numerously reachable.
14. Reading is very important. Students could be assigned to read in small groups and pairs.
Students can turn and talk to their neighbor about what was just being read, and they can
compare and contrast their thoughts to one another. Students can highlight important words and
key topics. Reading can also be done with the class, as the teacher is able to read to the entire
class.
15. Writing can be used with students from having writing assessments and students can draw
pictures and tell what is happening. A writing assignment should be expressive, so students
should more time for this lesson.
16. It would be beneficial to hear students opinions on a few things, such as designing their own
standards and criteria for assessment. Learning contracts can be developed with students who
want to do more complex and different work on the topic.
17. I think choice on the topic from students perspective should be considered. Students can feel
free to roam around the room and sit on the floor, at their desk, with a partner, etc.
18. Clock buddies are a way for students to go about working with others. For example, this idea
helps students to not be left without a partner, and can help the student learn from ESL learner.
19. Interactive instruction- This interaction involves range of grouping and interaction methods.
The teacher needs to outline and demonstrate the topic clearly, but the size of the groups and
sharing techniques can be announced, as well as active listening, and intervention skills can
cooperate for teacher and students.
20. Student learning can develop deeply by observing others and work between what students
know and what they can do. Students need to see and clearly understand what is going on at all
times. Students need to cooperate and view demonstration together.
