Comments:
The pre-assessments were clear, short and age appropriate. Your reading was clear, and direct. Suggestion: Maybe your could show them a
picture of cars going through a tunnel and trucks with airplanes.
You asked about the main idea and details before you started reading the story. You also reviewed sight words in the story and what they meant.
Good pre-reading strategy.
Students seemed focused on your words and were attentive.
As you started the booklet you asked the students what they thought the book was about based on the picture. You explained the different
seasons. You reminded them of the objective: to find the main ides of the story.
Suggestion: After each student finished reading, you could re-read and make sure all the students were focused and understood what it said.
You did review after everyone was done! Good.
Suggestion, maybe have the students color each item on each page for detail re-enforcement.
Good graphic organizer to allow students write minimum.
